Taking more challenging high school courses. Selecting high school classes can difficult. Register for the most challenging classes possible according to your interests and abilities.
Depending on your college major, some colleges require two years of the same foreign language in high school and two consecutive years of college level foreign language. Taking four years of the same foreign language in high school may waive the language requirement. Knowledge of a foreign language will also help build vocabulary skills for the ACT/SAT college entrance exams.
